Job summary

Kronospan is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead our environmental performance at a manufacturing site. You will develop and manage environmental strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continual improvements across the facility.

The role emphasizes hands-on permit management, regulatory liaison, and risk control within a busy site. You will work with internal teams and external bodies to enhance safety and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental field required.
• IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental certification essential.
• Experience with Natural Resources Wales, Environment Agency or regulators.
• Minimum 5 years in environmental management.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental strategies and programs.
• Monitor compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits.
• Lead projects to reduce environmental footprint.
• Prepare reports and communicate performance to stakeholders.
