Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction activities for a National Grid project. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the T&D industry, a full UK driving licence, and relevant safety certifications. Responsibilities include managing subcontractor activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications. This is a full-time, site-based role with a day rate of £400.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in T&D industry, preferably on National Grid sites.
• National Grid Person certification is mandatory.
• Ability to travel nationally and work 50 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager and oversee subcontractor activities.
• Interpret and maintain site drawings.
• Verify subcontractor compliance with specifications.
