Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join the Network Rail CP7 Western Framework in Bristol. You will support delivery of civil engineering schemes and AFA works, focusing on setting out, quality control, and site coordination.

This role offers training and progression within a supportive team, with responsibilities including documentation, permits, and implementing safety standards on site.

My client is seeking a motivated and ambitious Site Engineer to join their team on the Network Rail CP7 Western Framework. In this role, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, including a range of exciting Civil Engineering schemes and AFA works.

Role and responsibilities

• Setting out for various elements, structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
• Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
• Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
• Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
• Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
• Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
