Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London seeks a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to lead setting out on civil projects in Kent. You will use GPS and robotic total stations to set out roads, structures and drainage and support quality control to meet design specifications.

You will assist with CAT scanning permits, uphold on-site health, safety and environmental standards, liaise with the site team to verify materials meet specs, and maintain progress records and as-built drawings in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out roads, structures and drainage on civil works.
• Familiar with surveying equipment: GPS and robotic total stations.
• Assist with quality control to ensure design standards are met.
• Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management).
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards on site.
• Liaise with site team to approve materials against specs.
• Keep accurate site diaries and progress reports.
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.

My client is a long established, leading, regional Civil Engineering Contractor.

Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their southeastern Region, they are looking to appoint, on a permanent basis a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work on projects in Kent.

• Setting out roads, structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
• Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
• Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
• Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
• Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
• Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
