Job summary

PHD Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer to join a growing contractor focusing on RC frames and groundworks for high-profile Data Centre projects. The role involves setting out, QA documentation, and coordinating subcontractors on site.

The successful candidate will have proven RC frame experience, strong setting-out skills with GPS/Total Station, and a CSCS card. A Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent) is preferred, with a view to long-term progression.

• Proven experience as Site Engineer in RC frames and groundworks.
• CSCS card is essential.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for RC frames, foundations, drainage and groundworks.
• Producing and interpreting site drawings and QA documentation.
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to spec.
• Conducting site surveys and maintaining accurate records.
• Ensuring health & safety compliance on site.
• Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily operations.

Location: Frankfurt

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 + package (DOE)

Full-time | Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a growing contractor specialising in reinforced concrete (RC) frames and groundworks across major Data Centre projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile developments with a business known for delivering complex structures to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for RC frames, foundations, drainage, and associated groundworks
• Producing and interpreting site drawings and QA documentation
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to spec
• Conducting site surveys and maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring health & safety compliance on site
• Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within RC frames and groundworks
• Strong setting out skills using GPS/Total Station equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Knowledge of QA procedures and as-built records
• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) preferred
• CSCS card (essential)
