Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Milford Haven on a 12-month contract. You will set out and survey using a Total Station, supporting the delivery of a new train station car park and related facilities.

The role requires strong setting out experience, ability to read drawings, and effective collaboration with Site Agents and the engineering team. Night/weekend work may be required with enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on civil/rail/infrastructure projects.
• Strong setting out experience.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in use of Total Station equipment.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying using a Total Station.
• Supporting the delivery of the new train station car park and associated infrastructure.
• Setting out and monitoring works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Working closely with Site Agents, Project Managers and the wider engineering team.
• Checking works against approved drawings and specifications.
• Supporting quality control and ensuring works are delivered accurately.
• Identifying and resolving engineering issues on site.
• Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
• Liaising with subcontractors and site management to ensure works progress to programme.
• Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of the project.
