Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Site Engineer and a Setting Out Engineer for the Milford Haven Station Interchange Scheme. You will perform precision setting out, oversee junior engineers, and ensure safety and quality across the civil works on a high-profile project.

The roles require a Civil Engineering degree and ongoing charter status, with PTS and health & safety training. The assignment runs until Sept 2027 with daily rates of £400–£450 umbrella inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
• Actively working towards Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Undertake setting out duties to a high degree of precision; supervise other engineers setting out work.
• Prepare Health and Safety Files for presentation to the Client Engineers and deliver them per hand over programme.
• Produce and manage inspection and test plans across the construction works; undertake installation inspections.
• Complete Red line drawings and ensure the accuracy of As Built issued drawings; review hand over documentation for accuracy and conformance to design specs.
• Understand engineering tolerances on the contract and communicate to the team.
• Provide safety leadership on site and ensure on-site personnel work safely.
• Develop and maintain Client and Stakeholder relationships; report errors or omissions promptly.
