Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our construction team. You will provide on-site technical support, ensure works are set out accurately and compliant with drawings, specifications and project requirements.

You will collaborate with Site Manager and subcontractors to keep projects on programme, maintain high health and safety standards, produce site records and assist with quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Engineer on construction sites.
• Engineering qualification such as HNC/HND or degree.
• Competent in setting out and surveying techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of construction methods, QA and documentation.
• Strong IT and record-keeping skills and effective communication.
• Full UK driving licence and commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out and surveying on site.
• Maintain site control points and benchmarks.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Produce site records and as-built information.
• Monitor activities for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Support QA and address defects or non-conformances.
