Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer II to oversee maintenance and operation of data centre electrical and mechanical infrastructure. You will manage maintenance tasks, troubleshoot complex systems, and coordinate with subcontractors while ensuring 7x24 readiness as part of a shift rotation.

The role requires experience in mission critical environments, LVAP/HVAP credentials, and proficiency in MS Office. A technical vocational education and site engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in mission critical operations and maintenance of large scale electrotechnical and/or electrical and mechanical systems.
• HVAC mechanical and/or electrical.
• Must be LVAP or HVAP.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Drive adherence to safety policies, efficiency, and core values.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair with subcontractors.
• Perform on-call duties and manage incidents as necessary.
• Document progress, issues, and results, and implement improvements.
• Supervise Site Engineers I, including task assignment and performance reviews.
• Demonstrate advanced technical skills in troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Assist with writing/reviewing operating procedures and planning critical maintenance/changes.
