Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a major earthworks package within highways works for Sizewell C. The role focuses on setting out, surveying, and ensuring works meet specifications, quality, and safety standards.

You will manage levels, lines, tolerances and carry out QA checks while coordinating with Site Managers and the wider engineering team on site in Leiston, England.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on highways/infrastructure/major earthworks.
• Strong setting-out and surveying skills.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and engineering software.
• Knowledge of earthworks QA procedures and construction drawings.
• Ability to work independently and support the delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Set out and survey earthworks and highways infrastructure.
• Deliver works according to drawings and specifications.
• Manage levels, lines, gradients and tolerances.
• Carry out site and as-built surveys and QA checks.
• Support cut and fill operations and formation levels.
• Maintain accurate site records and QA documentation.
• Liaise with Site Managers, subcontractors and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
