Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting Site Engineers for a major infrastructure project in Scotland, focusing on drainage and structural works. You will be responsible for accurate setting out, quality checks, and maintaining meticulous site records while collaborating with the broader engineering and construction teams.

Ideal candidates have strong setting out experience in highways or civil projects, and familiarity with drainage or structural tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong setting out experience within highways or civil engineering.
• Experience with drainage and/or structural works.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with surveying equipment and site records.
• Strong understanding of QA and health & safety requirements.
• Relevant engineering qualifications and site tickets.

Responsibilities

• Set out works accurately and maintain quality checks.
• Maintain site records and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Support QA, health & safety compliance on site.
