Fawkes & Reece London in Wales is seeking a Site Engineer for a major civil engineering project in the Snowdonia region. You will focus on precise setting out, interpreting drawings, and coordinating with subcontractors to deliver high-quality, safe works.

The role requires 2+ years on civil projects, a CSCS card, and proficiency with surveying instruments. AutoCAD and site reporting skills are advantageous for successful handover and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• CSCS card relevant to role.
• Proven setting out and site engineering experience.
• Proficient with Leica Total Station and GPS surveying.
• Knowledge of construction processes, health & safety, QA.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and method statements.
• Competent in AutoCAD and site reporting.

Responsabilités

• Set out works using drawings, specifications and control points.
• Deliver external civil works: pavement, road surfacing, kerbs, drainage.
• Operate Leica TS16 and GPS for precise data capture.
• Coordinate daily with subcontractors and site teams.
• Manage tasks from site setup to handover with quality and safety.
