Job summary

STRABAG UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of the SRFI at SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett. Located in Hertfordshire, the project aims to shift freight from road to rail, with a multi-year construction programme and significant environmental and community benefits.

The role requires setting out, surveying, interpreting drawings, and coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver earthworks, drainage, highways and utilities to strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Setting out and surveying using appropriate equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience across earthworks, drainage, highways, utilities or reinforced concrete.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a wider project team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake accurate setting out and surveying of construction works.
• Provide engineering support to Site Agents and the delivery team.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs and method statements.
• Maintain accurate site records and QA documentation.
• Assist with engineering drawings and technical information.
• Monitor works for tolerances and quality.
