Job summary

TLG Infrastructure Limited in Grimsby is recruiting a Site Engineer to join a project delivering civil works, drainage, RC slab construction, steel works and internal demolition.

You will set out, level and survey using Total Station and GPS, read drawings, monitor quality and progress, and provide on-site technical support. The role requires coordinating with the Site Manager and operatives, maintaining records, and assisting with RAMS and health & safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as site engineer on civil engineering or demolition projects.
• Proven setting out using Total Station, GPS or laser levels.
• Strong reading of drawings, specifications and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil, demolition, groundworks and construction activities on site.
• Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying using Total Station, GPS and laser levels.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction plans.
• Monitor quality, progress and compliance with project specifications.
• Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues on site.
• Coordinate with Site Manager, operatives and client.
• Prepare and maintain site records, inspection reports and as-built information.
• Assist with RAMS, permits, risk assessments and health & safety requirements.
• Measure works, quantities and materials and assist with project documentation.
• Ideal start is in October however we can start someone sooner if available.
