Job summary

TLG Infrastructure Limited is currently recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to oversee earthworks and civils tasks on an active project in the UK. The role requires strong setting-out skills, GPS machine control experience, and the ability to read drawings and coordinates.

You will liaise with machine operators, site managers, subcontractors and the wider engineering team to ensure accurate delivery and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Experienced Site Engineer for earthworks/civil project.
• Strong earthworks and setting-out experience essential.
• Carry out accurate setting out of levels, gradients and coordinates.
• Experience working with GPS machine control systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and site plans.
• Work closely with Site Managers, subcontractors and the wider engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out of levels, gradients and coordinates.
• Work with GPS machine control systems to guide earthworks.
• Liaise with machine operators to ensure works are completed accurately.
• Check levels, quantities and works against drawings and specifications.
• Carry out quality checks and maintain accurate site records.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and site plans.
• Collaborate with Site Managers, subcontractors and the wider engineering team.
