Job Opportunity: Site Engineer

FJA is working with a national leader in the Water industry that is looking to recruit Site Engineers. The role involves working on two projects, one near Kidderminster and another near Evesham.

This position is available on both permanent and contract basis.

You will report directly to the Site Manager and your responsibilities will include setting out and quality control to ensure the works are constructed to specifications safely, maintaining site records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all works comply with C.D.M. Regulations and safe working practices.
• Assist in preparing construction programmes, Method Statements, Action Plans, and Risk Assessments.
• Set out the works.
• Check site work for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Verify site measurements and records with client’s staff.
• Maintain drawing files, registers, and site filing systems.
• Take off quantities from drawings for measurement and requisitions.
• Assist in preparing construction completion documentation.
• Ensure quality standards are met according to specifications and good practices.
• Establish open and honest communication channels.
• Lead by example in safety behaviors.

Essential Requirements:

• BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction (minimum)
• Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations & automatic levels)

Desirable Qualifications:

• First Aid at Work qualification
• SSSTS
• CSCS Supervision card
• EUSR SHEA Water
