Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to join a major rail infrastructure project in Greater Manchester. The role focuses on setting out, surveying, and delivering civil engineering works in a live railway environment.

You will provide engineering support to the project team, ensure works are set out accurately, safely, and in line with project specifications, and help maintain quality records and documentation on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on rail or civil projects.
• Strong setting-out experience.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience working within a live railway environment.
• PTS / Sentinel accreditation.
• CSCS and relevant site qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying construction works.
• Providing engineering support to the Site Management team.
• Checking levels, dimensions and line/level.
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Carrying out quality inspections and completing relevant documentation.
• Reviewing drawings and specifications and identifying technical issues.

• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with RAMS and project requirements.
• Liaising with the wider engineering and construction teams.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major rail infrastructure project in Greater Manchester.

The successful candidate will play a key role within the site engineering team, supporting the delivery of station and civil engineering works in a live rail environment.

The Role

You will provide engineering support to the project team and ensure works are set out and delivered accurately, safely and in accordance with the project specification.
