Job summary

Pod-Trak Ltd is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to lead on-site delivery of civil and rail infrastructure projects across the M62 corridor from Leeds to Manchester. You will coordinate with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors and clients to ensure safety, quality and programme targets are met on site.

The role requires a proven background in rail infrastructure or civils, a CSCS and PTS card, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Site Engineer.
• Strong background in Rail infrastructure, groundworks, or civil engineering projects.
• A valid CSCS card, PTS card and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Track monitoring & setting out for roads, drainage, foundations, earthworks, piling, earthworks and associated civil engineering works in both Rail & Civils environments.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements, completing quality assurance checks throughout the works
• Supervising and mentoring Site Engineers and junior engineering staff
• Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records, surveys, and as-built information
• Ensuring SHEQ standards and company procedures are always adhered to
• Supporting the successful delivery of projects to programme, quality, and budget targets.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Site Engineer to join our growing delivery team. This is a key role in the on-site management, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering works, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across a range of rail and civils projects from Huddersfield to Manchester. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Subcontractors and clients, ensuring efficient delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Track monitoring & setting out for roads, drainage, foundations, earthworks, piling, earthworks and associated civil engineering works in both Rail & Civils environments.

Requirements

The successful Senior Site Engineer will have:

• Strong background in Rail infrastructure, groundworks, or civil engineering projects
• A valid CSCS card, PTS card and a full UK driving licence
• Ability to travel to sites across the M62 corridor from Leeds to Manchester.
