We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Site Engineer, based on-site in the Anglian Water Region.

You will report directly to the Site Manager, and your role will involve providing setting out and quality control services to ensure that the contract works are constructed to the specification in a safe manner, while maintaining appropriate site records.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with regulations and compliance with the company's safe working practices.
• Assist in the preparation of construction programmes, Method Statements, Action Plans, and Risk Assessments.
• Setting out the works.
• Checking site work to ensure compliance with the specifications and drawings.
• Agreeing on site measurements and records with the client’s staff.
• Assist in maintaining drawing files, the drawing register, and the site filing system.
• Liaising with the design department to ensure updated information is always used.
• Taking off quantities from drawings for measurement purposes and assisting in the preparation of requisitions.
• Assist in the preparation of construction completion documentation.
• Ensure that the works are constructed to a good quality in line with the specifications and good working practices.
• Ensure that the required quality records are maintained.
• In conjunction with other site staff, ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with current legislation, the company health & safety policy, procedures, and safe working practices.
• Establish good, honest, and open lines of communication.
• It is vitally important that Site Engineers lead by example in terms of safety behaviors.
