A leading contractor in the construction sector is seeking a Site Engineer for a 1-year project in Orpington, UK. In this role, you will manage setting out for ground works across four sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Reporting to the Project Manager, the ideal candidate will possess a CSCS card, a valid Driving Licence, and a degree in civil engineering or relevant experience. A company car and fuel card will be provided for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing ground works on construction sites.
• Possession of a valid CSCS card is mandatory.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and liaising.

Responsibilities

My client is a leading contractor in the construction sector who are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete a 1 year project. You will be required to manage all the setting out in relation to the ground works on four different sites. A company car and fuel card will be provided to travel between each site.

• Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Liaising with main contractor engineer.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety.
• Completing all setting out associated to ground works on all four sites
• Raising technical queries on design issues.
• CSCS card.
• Driving Licence
• Ground works experience
• SMSTS or SSSTS – Desirable, not essential.
• Degree in civil engineering/construction or time served
