Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer for a 12 month contract in the United Kingdom. You will manage engineering activities including the setting out of groundworks and steel frame packages on site.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Manager and foreman, setting up the site, ensuring health and safety, and raising design queries as needed. Previous experience in groundworks and drainage is essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required or equivalent.
• SMSTS or SSSTS is desirable but not essential.
• Experience setting out groundworks and drainage.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or time served in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Manager and foreman and coordinate activities.
• Set up site and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Perform all setting out for groundworks and steel frame works.
• Raise technical queries on design issues as needed.

My client is a leading contractor in the Steel frame and Groundworks sector. We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete an 12 month contract. You will be required to manage the engineering, including the setting out of the ground works/steel frame package.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Completing all setting out associated to the ground works and steel Frame aspects.
• Raising technical queries on design issues.

Site Engineer Requirements:

• CSCS card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS - Desirable, not essential.
• Previous experience setting out ground works and drainage.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
