About the role

SZC is owned by shareholders EDF and HMG, holding investments through NNB Holdings Company (SZC) Limited. The project involves designing, financing, constructing, commissioning, operating, maintaining, and decommissioning the Sizewell C nuclear power plant in Suffolk, including related infrastructure such as hydrogen, direct air capture, and desalination activities.

The current development phase focuses on completing the Capital Raise Plan, including equity and debt financing, securing core supply chain contracts, and obtaining necessary regulatory permits and licenses.

Previously part of EDF's Nuclear Development business, SZC is now transitioning to its own organization capable of delivering a new nuclear power plant, leveraging EDF's UK nuclear capabilities.

Key stakeholders include the UK Government, regulators, EDF, financial investors, and local communities.

What you'll be doing

The role involves designing, planning, procuring, and executing early civils scope for SZC, including SSSI Crossing, ground improvements, dewatering, diaphragm walls, sea defense, marine bulk import facility (MBIF), beach landing facility (BLF), construction drainage outfall, and bulk Earthworks.
