About the Role:

Paxton Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company based in the North of Scotland, with projects spanning the entire country. We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join their team, working on a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel to various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project specifications.
• Working with GPS, Total Stations, and AutoCAD to ensure accurate measurements.
• Assisting in the preparation and review of technical drawings and site reports.
• Ensuring all works comply with design and safety standards.
• Managing subcontractors and liaising with clients and project managers.
• Conducting quality control checks and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Supporting the site team with problem-solving and technical advice.
• Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering or construction.
• Proficiency in GPS, Total Stations, and CAD software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, setting out, and surveying techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Full UK driving license (essential).
• CSCS card (desirable).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamworking skills.
• Willingness to travel across Scotland for projects.
