Randstad CPE is seeking a skilled Site Engineer for a major A9 Tomatin to Moy dual carriageway upgrade in Scotland. Based near Inverness, you will report to the Section Engineer and drive setting-out, quality control and site safety across heavy civil works.
You will collaborate with Transport Scotland and Mott MacDonald, delivering 10 km of new dual carriageway, major concrete structures and drainage. Applicants must be based in the Highlands or willing to relocate.
Location: Tomatin (near Inverness / Aviemore), Scotland
Rate: £240.00 / day (Inside IR35) (Subject to review/uplift for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
We are seeking a versatile, experienced Site Engineer to join the delivery team on the major A9 Tomatin to Moy dual carriageway upgrade. Reporting directly to the Section Engineer, you will play a key role in executing engineering control,quality control, field health & safety, and daily operations across heavy civil works. You will work alongside key project stakeholders, including Transport Scotland and Mott MacDonald, on a site delivering 10 km of new dual carriageway, side roads, major concrete structures, and extensive drainage infrastructure.
Skills & Experience:
Commute / Location: Candidates must be based in (or willing to relocate/commute to) the Highlands region (e.g., Inverness or Aviemore). (Note: Accommodation/travel allowance is not standard, but lodge allowances may be considered for strong candidates).
