Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Freelance Site Engineer / Setting out engineer to support a Rail Station Project in Pembrokeshire, Wales for 1 year plus. You will set out lines and levels using Total Stations and GPS, interpret 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models to extract coordinates, and conduct as-built QA checks to ensure design tolerances are met.

You will liaise with site agents, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve queries and design clashes while maintaining full compliance with health,

Qualifications

• Experience in setting out lines and levels on rail projects.
• Ability to interpret 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models to extract coordinates.
• Conduct as-built QA surveys and quality checks against design tolerances.
• Coordinate with site agents, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve technical queries and clashes.
• Maintain strict adherence to site health and safety regulations.
