Salary:

GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 (Depending on Level)

Introduction:

MGR Recruitment is representing a leading Civil contractor in their search for an experienced Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer to join a prestigious heavy Civil Project in Aylesbury, part of the ongoing HS2 initiative. The project scope includes work between Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood, featuring viaducts, green tunnels, road diversions, overbridges, and approximately 30 million cubic metres of excavation.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Precise setting out, as-built, RC Frame, and surveying
• Conducting quality control checks and maintaining records
• Supporting senior engineers and project managers to ensure safe and efficient operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid CSCS card (mandatory)
• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
• Minimum 3 years in Civil, Building, or Groundwork projects within the UK
• Proficiency with surveying instruments
• Knowledge of method statements and risk assessments
• Understanding of QA processes and onsite paperwork management

Experience on civil projects is advantageous but not essential.
