CarmichaelUK are working with a leading utilities contractor, to recruit a Senior Engineer to support their works on the HS2 project in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected team delivering complex infrastructure on the UK s largest construction project.
Role Overview:
As Senior Engineer, you will take responsibility for managing a section of works on-site, overseeing day-to-day engineering activities including:

• Setting out and surveying for various utilities and civils packages
  
• Producing and managing as-built records and documentation
  
• Coordinating and managing subcontractors and site teams
  
• Ensuring works are delivered on time, safely, and to the required quality standards
  
• Reporting progress and issues to the site management team
  

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience on major infrastructure or utilities projects
  
• Competence in sheet piling, drainage, and utility diversions
  
• Strong understanding of temporary works and construction methodologies
  
• Proven experience managing junior engineers and subcontractors
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail

• HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  
• CSCS (Engineer or Manager level)
  
• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
  
• Right to work in the UK
