Carmichael UK are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways project in Gloucestershire. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery team, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification and in line with programme requirements.

You will lead setting out, maintain accurate records and review drawings, ensuring QA/ITP processes are followed and works progress to schedule. The role involves coordinating with Site Agents and Project Managers on site activities.

Formación

• Experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil projects.
• Proven setting-out experience using Leica, Trimble or similar equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of QA, ITPs and construction documentation.
• CSCS Card is held.

Responsabilidades

• Managing quality assurance processes, inspections and testing.

Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Gloucestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-term project involving a range of civil engineering works including highways construction, drainage, earthworks, structures and associated infrastructure. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery team, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification and in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for highways, drainage, earthworks and structural works
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
• Managing quality assurance processes, inspections and testing
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Supporting subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered to programme
• Preparing permits, ITPs, check sheets and site documentation
• Assisting with temporary works coordination and implementation
• Promoting high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
• Liaising with Site Agents, Section Engineers and Project Managers

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil engineering projects
• Proven setting out experience using Leica, Trimble or similar equipment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of QA processes, ITPs and construction documentation
• CSCS Card
• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience working for Tier 1 contractors
• National Highways project experience
• Temporary Works awareness
• SMSTS or SSSTS
