M Group Rail and Aviation

Aviation - Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

What will you be doing?

1. The measurement, setting out, levelling & surveying of site works
2. Supervision of labour and subcontractors
3. Procurement and management of materials and plant
4. Health & safety management
5. Quality assurance
6. Producing method statements and risk assessments
7. Checking of plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
8. Correspondence, record keeping and reporting in accordance with Dyer & Butler and client procedures
9. Liaising with clients

What you’ll bring

1. You will be from a Civil Engineering background with a minimum of HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. You will most likely be working as a Site Engineer with a similar Contractor
3. Have proven experience in the accurate measurement, setting out, levelling & surveying of various site works
4. It is vital that you possess excellent communication and people management skills and have the drive and enthusiasm to manage a project through to completion, within budget and program
5. You need to possess practical, problem solving and engineering abilities and the ability to work in high pressure environments and within a team
6. The successful candidate should ideally live locally to the Brighton area and be prepared to work on projects within the geographical area
