Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM (EKFB) is seeking a Site Engineer to join our team in the Buckingham area for the delivery of civil engineering works related to HS2. About the Role

EKFB has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high‑speed rail line between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We’re looking to recruit a Site Engineer with Earthworks and/or Structures experience to join our team in the Buckingham area.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
• Work with the setting‑out team and be responsible for the performance and development of junior engineers, identifying and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub‑Agent.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure their work meets contractual requirements.
• Assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards ICE membership.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
• Experience in heavy structures or drainage is essential for this role.
• CSCS card is required (Black, Gold, White, White/Yellow, Red Experienced or Red Provisional (6 months)).
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
