Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver and evaluate monthly, quarterly and annual site accounts and budgets.
• Lead the Finance team of 4 individuals.
• Prepare month end processes and accounts.
• Cash management and forecasting for local and corporate leadership.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and undertake periodic fixed asset inspections.
• Oversee purchase ledger and sales ledger processes to ensure compliance.
• Oversee Payroll.
• Create weekly and monthly presentations detailing financial performance.
• Liaise with key stakeholders for ad-hoc reporting and information.
• Liaise with external auditors during year end process.
• Monthly accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare annual budgets.
• Prepare Statutory accounts.
• Collaborate on five-year plan with Sales Manager and General Manager.

Job description

This role will be responsible for the preparation, delivery and evaluation of the monthly, quarterly and annual site accounts and budgets. Leading the Finance team, the successful candidate will provide a strategic approach to key stakeholders within the business for sound financial business decisions to be made.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the competencies identified within the EHS Management System manual
• Promote a positive, participative, and proactive culture throughout the site that heavily focuses on safety of personnel and quality of products
• Management and development of the finance team of 4 individuals
• Preparation and delivery of month end processes and accounts
• Cash management & forecasting for local leadership and corporate leadership
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and undertaking periodic fixed asset inspections
• Supervising the purchase ledger & sales ledger processes to ensure full compliance
• Oversight of Payroll
• Create weekly and monthly presentations to detail the financial performance of the business
• Liaising with key stakeholders (local leadership team and corporate team) to provide ad-hoc reporting and information
• Liaising with external auditors during the year end process
• Monthly accruals and prepayments
• Preparation of annual budgets
• Preparation of Statutory accounts
• Working alongside the Sales Manager and general Manager, assume responsibility for the preparation of the five-year plan
