Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced Site/Construction Manager to support wastewater scheme delivery. You will lead day-to-day on-site activities, coordinate MEICA and civils works, and ensure work is completed safely, on programme and to required quality.

In this role you will manage site operations, liaise with subcontractors and the client, maintain RAMS and QA records, and support commissioning and handover where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in site/construction management within the water sector, specifically wastewater.
• Strong MEICA experience alongside civils delivery and sequencing.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts on live sites.
• Excellent communication to manage subcontractors and client relationships.

Site / Construction Manager (Wastewater)

We're looking for an experienced Site/Construction Manager to support delivery of wastewater schemes. You'll be leading day-to-day site activities, coordinating MEICA and civils works, and keeping the job running safely, to programme and to the required quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations on wastewater projects (MEICA + civils packages).
• Plan and coordinate site activities with supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Drive H&S standards on site, including briefings, inspections and permit compliance.
• Maintain programme and sequencing, reporting progress and flagging constraints early.
• Ensure quality checks are completed and works are delivered to spec and drawings.
• Coordinate with the client, operations teams and wider project delivery team.
• Manage site documentation: RAMS, permits, diaries, progress updates and ITP/QA records.
• Support commissioning and handover activities where required.

What we're looking for

• Proven Site/Construction Management experience within the water sector (wastewater).
• Strong MEICA experience alongside civils delivery (interfaces, sequencing, site coordination).
• Comfortable working on live operational environments and coordinating multiple work fronts.
• Good communication style - able to manage subcontractors and maintain client relationships on site.
