Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in London, UK, is seeking an Intern/Co‑op - Site/Civil Engineering to support site feasibility studies, field work, and technical report preparation on land development projects.

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing an advanced degree in Civil Engineering.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering software and equipment.
• Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical data from reports, maps, drawings, and photographs.
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments, sidewalk estimations, and project feasibility analysis.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics to project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
