Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in London is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team. You will assist with planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects, gaining experience in site/civil design for mixed‑use developments, shopping centres, residential and education facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years of work‑related experience.
• Internship or professional experience in site/civil design including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking and judgement capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects;
• Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software;
• Interpret maps and engineering data to support project planning and design;
• Propose new approaches to improve efficiency and services;
• Apply engineering knowledge and mathematics to project tasks;
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks;
• Perform other duties as requested.
