Reed is seeking an Environmental Technician (Hazardous Waste) to ensure safe handling, analysis and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at our facility in the UK, with hands-on testing, treatment processes and mandatory PPE.
A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or environmental science is preferred; willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. A UK driving licence is desirable. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive salary; sponsorship is not available.
As a Environmental Technician (Hazardous Waste), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe handling, analysis, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at our client’s facility. You will gain expertise in the safe handling of industrial chemicals, testing and treatment processes of different types of waste.
The successful applicant will ideally have a bachelor’s degree stemming from a chemistry discipline or environmental science (Chemistry A- levels/Applied Science BTECscan also be considered) and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times due to the nature of this role.

This is a full time, permanent role and will pay a competitive salary, with great scope for progression based on experience and training gained onsite.
