Job summary

Sizewell C Limited in Suffolk is seeking a Section Engineer for pre-construction enabling works on the Sizewell C project. Based on site, you will support earthworks and civils preparation under the Civil Works Alliance.

You will coordinate earthworks design, planning and execution, ensuring safe systems of work and timely delivery. The role requires a current UK driving licence, willingness to travel, and strong collaboration with client and contractor teams on a major energy project.

Qualifications

• Clear communication of a safe system of work and ensuring it is followed.
• Ability to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems across groups.
• Knowledge of Project Management methodology.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to work away from home.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enabling works including earthworks planning and procurement.
• Monitor earthworks trials, soil behaviour and backfilling methods.
• Maintain site records and daily diary.
