Job summary

Sizewell C Limited is seeking a Preconstruction Manager (Enabling & Earthworks Readiness) to lead planning, coordination and readiness activities for major enabling works at the Sizewell C site in Suffolk. You will drive readiness plans, manage cross-functional interfaces, and ensure safe, cost-effective preparation ahead of mobilisation.

The role requires significant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, NEC contracts familiarity, and a track record of coordinating

Qualifications

• Significant experience in major infrastructure, nuclear, rail, highways, energy, or large-scale construction projects.
• Track record of delivering projects in a technically complex and dynamic environment with safety, security and environmental responsibility.
• Proven experience in pre-construction, construction readiness, project management, or mobilisation leadership.
• Experience managing sub-contractors, consultants and other advisers on large projects, preferably in preconstruction, including NEC contracts.
• Experience managing enabling works and earthworks programmes on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and readiness activities for major enabling and earthworks operations.
• Develop strategy for delivering scopes safely, within cost, schedule and quality constraints.
• Coordinate interface between programme, engineering, construction, commercial, procurement, permitting and environment teams.
• Manage preconstruction team and wider interfaces, ensuring prerequisites are identified and acted upon.
• Drive readiness plans, monitor risks and ensure packages are prepared before mobilisation.
