Job summary

Sizewell C Limited is seeking a Methods Engineer for Enabling and Earthworks on a Suffolk site. The role supports the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) in building Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear project delivering low-carbon electricity for decades.

You will develop methods, manage temporary works, and contribute to design and safety reviews. Responsibilities include risk assessments, sequence planning, and collaboration with design teams to optimise earthworks and temporary works design briefs.

Qualifications

• Understanding and applying engineering methods in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Good numerical and analytical skills relevant to earthworks and temporary works.

Responsibilities

• Develops methods of work and risk assessments for earthworks and enabling activities.
• Reads and interrogates temporary works drawings using CAD tools.
• Reviews designs and supports trial scopes, RFIs, and specification updates.
