Job summary

Ceto Talent seeks an experienced Section Engineer for a power and transmission infrastructure project near Peterhead, Aberdeen. You will perform complex setting-out, establish engineering control and supervise junior engineers to ensure work aligns with RAMS and QA/QC processes.

Key duties include maintaining weekly programmes, monitoring labour and plant, and ensuring integrity of quantities and documentation. This is a site-based role with a long-term initial contract.

Qualifications

• Proven civil engineering or infrastructure experience, preferably five years or more.
• Strong setting-out and engineering control skills.
• Experience with permit systems, subcontractor requirements and site programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex setting out and establish engineering control.
• Maintain quality records, RAMS and temporary works briefs.
• Produce weekly programmes and monitor labour, plant and quantities.
• Support junior engineers on site.
