Job Description:

We're looking to add a Project Engineer to our team at Vipond, for an onsite role initially in Glasgow and Warrington. This opportunity is suitable for someone aiming to progress to Project Manager. The role may require occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in project initiation and handover meetings with stakeholders including Sales, Design, and QS.
• Develop and maintain project programs.
• Communicate regularly with clients throughout the project.
• Maintain central project documentation.
• Attend internal Cost To Complete (CVR) meetings.
• Prepare and submit end-of-project documentation such as O&M manuals, as-fitted drawings, and certifications.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of engineering drawings.
• Experience managing projects with budgets from £5k to £2m in the construction industry.
• Supervision of on-site labor and resources.
• Current SMSTS and CSCS cards.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations.
• Relevant NVQ/NHD/HNC/City & Guilds in Building Services or Mechanical disciplines.

The Sprinkler Project Engineer will support the Project/Site Manager(s) in delivering fire protection projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations and customer requirements. You will gain experience across various projects, including commercial, energy from waste, warehouses, and distribution centers.
