Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Production Planner to join a market-leading manufacturer in Merthyr Tydfil. The role is site-based with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and offers up to £40,000 DOE depending on experience.

The successful candidate will manage capacity planning, material demand, and ERP/MRP data accuracy, working closely with the Production Scheduler and using ERP systems (IFS) to optimise delivery, efficiency, and cost. This is a site-based position with a reliable employer.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in production or factory planning roles.
• Advanced knowledge with ERP/MRP systems and planning processes.
• Understanding of capacity planning, inventory management and production flow.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage capacity planning activities with Production Scheduler.
• Plan and manage material demand and stock control via ERP/MRP.
• Ensure capacity planning is integrated within ERP/MRP to optimise delivery.
• Maintain data accuracy in ERP system (IFS) and action MRP messages.
• Load projects into the system post-design release and validate data.
