Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Manager for a leading prime residential main contractor. This site-based role in South Somerset involves delivering complex, high-value projects from £2m to £30m, including Grade I/II listed properties, refurbishments and bespoke new builds.

You will coordinate clients, consultants, site teams and the commercial department to ensure safe, on-time delivery of exceptional quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager in construction.
• Delivery of prime residential, heritage or bespoke projects preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from pre-construction through handover on site.
• Manage programmes, milestones and deadlines.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and consultants.
• Maintain client, architect and designer relationships.
• Monitor progress and quality, manage budget variations.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Chair progress meetings and report to senior management.
• Identify risks and drive proactive resolutions.
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and documentation.
