Job summary

CP Management Solutions LTD is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead high quality mechanical building services in a busy commercial fit-out environment. You will own mechanical packages, drive safety and program delivery, and coordinate site teams and subcontractors.

This site-based role focuses on HVAC, heating, ventilation and plumbing, with accountability for budgets, procurement and project risks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within commercial fit-out or building services.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical installations and HVAC systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site-based activities.
• Good understanding of project programmes, budgets, procurement, and commercial management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, quality, and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical building services packages from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Oversee site-based mechanical installations, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets, procurement, and resources.
• Ensure all works meet the required quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, programme delays, and potential project risks.
• Manage variations, project costs, and subcontractor performance.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.

This role would suit a driven, commercially aware professional who can take ownership of mechanical packages, lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
