Job summary

Adsyst Automation Ltd is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to survey, install, commission and support site-based control systems for our clients. The role is primarily electrical with some PLC programming; you may work alone or in a team, and you will travel to sites with occasional overnight stays.

Hours are 08:30-17:15 Mon-Thu and 08:30-16:00 Fri. The ideal candidate holds electrical qualifications (C&G/BTEC/NVQ3/ONC or HNC/HND, 18th edition) and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC or HNC/HND, 18th edition required.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation (2365) and Level 3 Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671:2018) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Survey, install, commission and support site-based control systems and equipment for key clients.
• Work alone or with another engineer or as part of a team; ensure work is completed to high standards within deadlines.
• Travel to sites (up to approx. 3 hours away); occasional overnight stays; hotels provided for commutes over 1.5 hours.
• Attend to PLC programming tasks as needed (training provided).
• Design, manufacture or install control panels and electrical equipment.
