Job summary

Defence Equipment & Support is recruiting Warehouse Operatives at Defence Munitions Glen Douglas. The role involves handling General Munitions and Complex Weapons, packing and unloading, operating MHE, and supporting naval and military logistics.

You must meet essential criteria and be prepared for safety-focused work in a secure environment. The position offers a 37-hour week, site-based work, and benefits including generous annual leave and a strong pension.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stock management experience
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office tools
• Hold a Full UK manual transmission driving licence
• Over the age of 18 due to Explosive Handling Regulations

Responsibilities

• Ensure routine receipts and issues are checked and paperwork updated
• Handle munitions and explosives safely
• Assist with packing/unpacking of ISO Containers
• Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment and cargo movements
• Support logistics and storage to meet customer requirements
• Maintain security, cleanliness and safety in explosives facilities
• Monitor explosives safety and storage conditions
