Job summary

Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) is seeking Warehouse Operatives to support the MOD’s logistics and munitions handling. You will manage receipts, storage and distribution of general munitions and equipment in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious environment.

Roles include operating Mechanical Handling Equipment, supporting on-board ship tasks, and maintaining high standards of security and accuracy. A Full UK driving licence and SC clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stock management experience.
• Basic IT skills, including MS Office.
• Hold a Full UK manual transmission driving licence.
• Over 18 years old due to Explosive Handling Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage routine receipts and issues with accurate paperwork or records.
• Handle munitions safely and in line with Safe Systems of Work.
• Pack/unpack ISO containers and use Mechanical Handling Equipment.
• Assist with logistics, storage and on-board duties across Defence sites.
• Maintain security, cleanliness and adherence to safety procedures.
