Job summary

XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, is seeking a Site Assistant to support rail and highways teams on de-vegetation and enabling works across the network. You will undertake vegetation removal, debris removal, fence/cladding/chamber removal and reinstatement, and culvert dewatering with CCTV examinations.

Night shifts and travel across the Western Routes may be required. Role requires recent railway/site experience, UK driving licence, and proficiency with MS Office; a strong

• Full UK driving licence.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

What will you be doing?

As a Site Assistant for XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, you will support the rail and highways teams with all de-vegetation and enabling work requirements.

You will also:

• Undertake works such as:
  • Vegetation removal
  • Debris removal
  • Fence removal & reinstatement
  • Cladding removal & reinstatement
  • Chamber removal & reinstatement
  • Dewatering of culverts & CCTV Examinations.
• Deliver works safely andin accordance withthe Contract Specification and programme of works. Ensuring that the team follow the Company Process & Procedures whilst adhering to the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards

• Recent experience as an operative in a railway or site environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

You must also be flexible to work across the Network Rail Western Routes, including travel and occasional work away from home. You must also be prepared to work nightshifts and weekends.
