Job summary

Octavius Infrastructure is recruiting a Site Agent to lead site delivery across Highway and Cycleway improvements. You will be based at our Taunton office with travel across the region to sites, ensuring projects meet programme, safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience in highway construction/improvements, strong planning and cost control skills, and knowledge of NEC/ICE contracts. A driving licence and leadership capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Highway Construction/Improvements.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Familiar with NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and cost control.
• Knowledge of specifications and testing regimes in civil engineering.
• Lead a team of up to 10 direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction site to achieve project delivery, safety, quality and cost targets.
• Lead the team and coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal Octavius staff to meet programme.
• Maintain a safe environment and uphold safety and quality at all times.
