Job summary

Involve Recruitment is seeking a Site Agent / Senior Site Agent to manage a multi-site highway development in the Metrowest programme. You will lead site teams, oversee construction activities, support pre-construction documentation, and guide the project to successful completion.

Responsibilities include implementing health, safety, quality, and environmental plans, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and maintaining cost control and reporting to the Contracts Manager.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification.
• Civil Engineering degree/HNC/HND or equivalent experience.
• Experience as Sub Agent/Site Agent/Senior Site Agent in civil engineering contracting.
• Strong understanding of CDM requirements and pre-construction documentation.
• Experience preparing CPPs, CEMPs and/or consents applications.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all works are delivered in full compliance with contract Terms and Conditions.
• Develop and manage Health & Safety Plans.
• Create Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets.
• Prepare Quality and Environmental Plans.
• Deliver projects safely, to programme, and within budget.
• Lead pre-construction development including CPPs and CEMPs.
• Support consents and permits applications.
• Lead day-to-day site management from commencement onward.
• Coordinate with site teams and commercial colleagues for cost control.
• Provide progress reports to Contracts Manager.
• Build positive relationships with Local Authority client and stakeholders.
