Job summary

VolkerWessels is seeking a Site Agent to oversee on-site construction activities on major infrastructure projects. You will ensure safe delivery to programme, within budget and to high quality standards, while supporting a leading UK infrastructure developer.

The candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage budgets and schedules, with a focus on safety and quality in civil works.

Qualifications

Experience as Site Agent or Senior Engineer on infrastructure or civil projects.
Strong leadership to motivate multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing subcontractors, budgets and programme delivery.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure delivery to programme, budget and quality.
Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams on site.
Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress against the programme.
